Divide and Conquer:

Positioning is Important:
Before you decide to trade blows with an enemy, it’s always a good idea to put your worm in a better position than your opponent. Heights are always better for easier aiming, while ditches can be effective in dodging long projectiles.
Self-Damage isn’t Always a Bad Thing:
There will be times when in order to win or get your worm out of a tough spot, you will have to do a little damage to your own worms. Don’t hesitate as no war can be won without sacrifice. So, if you have to bomb your way out of a hole, just do it before the enemy traps you even further and makes your worms grenade food.
Play the Single Player Game:
While the AI might not that much challenging for many, it provides a great way for you to master all your weapons in real time. This can really come in handy especially while facing an enemy who is well versed in the art of combat.
