When it comes to racing games on the Android OS, we don’t have many games that fall in the great category. However, among the few good games that we do have, Asphalt 8: Airborne has to be in the top few. Now, I know that the game has been available for quite some time but there always are new players to the game, who just have a hard time mastering their car. If you’re such a person, then buckle your seatbelts and hold on tight as our Asphalt 8: Airborne Tips & Tricks are about to rock your world.

Asphalt 8: Airborne Tips & Tricks

Choose the Best Control Scheme:

The game comes with more than one control schemes. Just go through them all and find the one that is most suited to your style of play as not many people have gotten used to the default tilt based gameplay.

It’s all about the Nitro:

Master the skillful art of using the Nitro for maximum effect if you ever want to win a race. The nitrous can be used in multiple ways such as giving you an extra boost on a straight track or making your car stop drifting sideways and lunge forward just after you have made a hard turn or even to ram your opponents off the road (though this is definitely not recommended).

Once you have mastered the use of Nitro, do remember to save some of it for the last stretch as when nearing the finish line, your opponents will blast in front of you. This is the place where you really can use that little boost of speed to pass them all once more.

Get Whacky:

No, we don’t mean that you should start ramming into other cars as that will just cause you some precious seconds. Instead, go for those little drifts and get as much airtime as you can. The more tricks you do, the better your nitro will restock.

Note: It’s always fun to do some barrel rolls or do a spin flip during jumps to increase your nitro supply.

Be Safe and Own the Road:

I think it goes without saying that the most important tip for any driver in a race is not to wreck his car. So drive safe, avoid ramming other cars (though you can always try forcing or tipping them off the road), stay clear of incoming traffic and simply know the track like the back of your hand.

Upgrade ASAP:

The most important thing for any driver is not how his car looks but how it performs. So, save money for upgrades and tune up your car the first chance you get. Opt to go for the upgrades in the following sequence: Handling > Top Speed > Nitrous > Acceleration.

Hope our Asphalt 8: Airborne Tips & Tricks might have helped to make a better driver out of you and finally enable you to start pwning in the game.
