jupiter jump

The story is about an astronaut who is 42 light years from home when his spacecraft is hit by an unknown object and he’s struck in an uninhabited planet. This is where Jupiter Jump begins where your objective is to help the astronaut travel as far as possible. In a way, this is more of an endless jump game but is different in all other ways.

Jupiter Jump Review

First of all, the best thing about the game is that its controls are extremely responsive and well designed. You will be using only one finger to press down to jump. The faster you tap, the shorter your astronaut will jump and lesser taps with slower speed will make him go higher. Beware, the entire space above is filled with mines at random intervals.

The game tests how far you can go without hitting into a mine and when you go really close to one but manager to escape, you get bonus points for the near miss. Jupiter Jump is in the lines of titles like Impossible Game, Wave Wave and Hexagon with a really difficult design that’s hard to master. But, once you understand its premises and play, it’s more enjoyable.

At first look, the graphics might look like pixels from the 80s and the music so retro but that’s one of the unique points of the game. Noodlecake Studios, the developers have kept the visuals simple but the game play addictive. Your only objective is to beat your own high score but because of the difficulty, you will be failing often. The game over will come up at multiple occasions!

You can score points by collecting orbs while skipping mines. There are portals and gates to jump through which provides bonus points. The entire maneuvering is done with the simple touch of a finger which makes it fairly simple on both smartphones and tablets. Google Play integration allows cloud saves, achievements and leader board which add up to the fun. We hope our Jupiter Jump review gave you a fair idea about the game and you might want to give it a try now.

Verdict – An endless jumper game with challenging obstacles, great for quick play.
