Pay Heed to the Score Margin:
The game comes with an adaptive AI and increases the difficulty by a small bit every time you beat a team by a huge margin. So, in theory if you keep beating teams by a huge goal difference, there will come a point in the game when your team will never be able to win again. So, it’s far better to ensure you don’t score too many goals in a match. To do this, switch to a defensive formation like 5-5-0 or 5-4-1 when you’re in lead.
Plan your Strategy:
It’s always good to plan ahead and change your strategies accordingly. Throwing forwards won’t get you a lot of goals if you don’t have any playmakers in the middle. So, always go for a formation which has a strong mid line up as well as an attacking one.
Make Everyone on your Team Have the Captain Skill:

Hire a normal player and make him the Captain. End game and then start a new one. Set the Captain Skill on another player and hire back the old player you set the captain skill to in the first step. Now both of your players will have the Captain Skill. This way you can make an entire team with all players having the said skill.
