Review: Sing! Karaoke by Smule – Let Your Inner Star Shine

Sing Karaoke by Smule

Music is supposedly food for the soul but not everyone is gifted as they think. However, everyone just loves to sing karaoke because it’s just so much fun. So if you’re a person who loves to sing but hate crowds then Sing! Karaoke by Smulem, microfoane, is the perfect app for you.

Review: Sing! Karaoke by Smule

Sing! Karaoke by Smule is a karaoke app that allows you to sing in the comfort of your own home with your friends and family. The app allows you to sing solo, in a duet or even in a group with strangers or friends depending upon how much money you want to spend.

What separates this app from other karaoke apps is that it also offers users tools to easily enhance their voice after a song has ended to make it sound better. Apart from the voice enhancements, users can also use manual syncing to make any lags that might have appeared between their voice and the music seamlessly disappear.

The app lets you search songs on the basis of genre, artists or even the song’s name making the whole thing seem like a breeze. With an exquisitely designed and highly functional GUI, you won’t have any trouble belting out those high notes with your friends.

With a large library of available popular songs, it’s really a shame that most of them will cost you a pretty penny to try out solo. The only totally free songs include anthems like “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star”, “America the Beautiful” etc. Or in other words, songs anyone above the age of 10 would really care to sing. Another thing that really bothered me was the lack of old songs that were available. Though I guess the developers do add songs on a weekly basis.

All in all Sing! Karaoke by Smule isn’t that bad of an app once you get past the amount of in app purchases that are being shoved to your face. You can still sing with strangers and just for the heck of it, listen to some amazing performances by app users from around the world as well. So, if you’re a karaoke fan, I do recommend that you think about trying this app out.
