Review: TuneIn – Radio isn’t dead

TuneIn

You can listen to music as much as you want but nothing puts a bigger smile on someone’s face than the one they get when the radio plays their favorite track. Of course, in today’s day and age not many people listen to the radio as thanks to fast internet connections, people just want a picture to go with the voice they hear. However, that being said, radio has also evolved with times and now thanks to the internet you have the entire world’s radio stations available to you courtesy of apps like TuneIn.

TuneIn Review

TuneIn is an internet radio app that allows users to tune into their favorite radio stations from all around the world with ease. It doesn’t matter if you want to listen to a British broadcast or your local station in Alaska, thanks to this app as long as you have an internet connection up and running on your device, you’re good to go.

You can browse through the stations on the basis of their genres as well as meticulously building a favorites list and choosing one from there. The app also comes with a car mode, which basically just allows you to navigate through a preset list of stations more easily in an attempt to keep your attention on the road or whatever it is that you’re doing.

The app itself is very functional and with an exquisite GUI it won’t present you with any sort of trouble trying to figure out how things work.

In conclusion, TuneIn is one of the best free radio apps that’s available on the Play Store as of this moment. With a user friendly interface and the ability to choose any radio station that your heart pleases, it won’t be long when you’ll be transported to a simplistic time when not every voice you heard had a face attached to it.
