The Simpsons: Tapped Out has to be among the top few builder games available on the Play Store as of this moment. It’s also one of those games which EA hasn’t been able to screw up somehow as it still manages to pay homage to the great show from which it was spun off of. Never Trust Gil:
Gil is a NPC that appears in the player’s town randomly and is basically a salesman who’s after your cash. As a rule of thumb, never trust Gil as he’s just a ploy by EA to make more money off the game.
Fast Levelling:
If you have the cash to spare and are looking for an easy way to level up, just start planting trees/shrub etc. around Springfield. They offer the best XP to time ratio and would help you level up much faster than constructing new buildings.
House Farming:
One of the most used exploits is the house farming technique. Basically you construct about a 100 or more similar houses (blue or brown) and farm them to increase the flow of money to your account.
Use Donuts Wisely:
Unless you have lots of real world cash lying about, don’t use your precious donuts for stupid things. They are a limited resource and should be spent wisely. As a result, it goes without saying that you should never use them to trade for in game cash! Also, it is often wise to turn on the confirmation for donut spending from the settings so you don’t use any of them by accident.
Get Lots of Neighbors:
Getting a lot of friends to try out a game can be a bit tedious as not everyone is prone to like the same things as you. So, instead of begging your friends to try the game out, you can always shop online. The game has become somewhat of a cult hit and as a result there are many Facebook groups and even websites that are dedicated to help you find more neighbors.
Tap Homer 10 Times for a Reward:
Tap Homer and open up his task list, now quickly tap Homer 10 more times without selecting any task from the list to receive 10 donuts and the statue of Jebediah for free. This is a hidden easter egg placed in the game by the developers just for fun.
